As the US continues to decline in Global Math rankings; Engaging students in math, science, technology, and engineering is one of the most important factors in creating tomorrow’s workforce that’s better and stronger.
Students And Teachers In Near Space: SATINS is a program that uniquely addresses this issue. Through hands-on operations of their very own space program; Students will discover the world of STEM like never before as students are challenged to build and test science experiments that will fly to the edge of space! to learn about weather patterns and atmospheric conditions in preparations for launch day.
Students then learn how to track & recover their flight, and then the students will present their flight program and experiment/s to their peers and community in a design and engineering event at their school that will involve pictures, video, and presentations.
SATINS goals are to offer our program to students from 100 schools for the 2016/2017 school year. In order to achieve our goals of supplying each classroom with complete launch kits including data loggers, trackers, cameras, flight prediction software, balloons, parachutes, training, additional support as needed or as necessary, SATINS will need to raise $400,000.00
With your generous donation TODAY! you will not just be a sponsor of students
you will be an Ambassador to tomorrow’s workforce, a mentor,
someone who will inspire, challenge, and motivate our
next generation of critical thinkers
